On Saturday, August 2nd, the 40 Watt Club in Athens will be the place to be to see a summer showcase like no other, as we bring to you Southern Hospitality: The Family Tree Vol. 2. We are celebrating @oe85ent’s 10-year anniversary in a major way with this event, so join us as @bcksatl x Freeman Leverett x Lex Hayley x Mannequin Party x Stardust Sonata x Sxvxntsoc x The Uknown x Vickis Dream will be taking the stage bringing an aural stampede that will shake you down to you core, make you feel ALL of the feels, & you just might become fans of this lovely crew (we already are). ALSO, DJ Charlie Flower & De.la.luna.music will be setting the vibes proper right when the doors open, so you may want to bring your dancing shoes and best moves from the jump. Lastly, we’ll have a mini-local business & makers market surrounding the venue that will include wares from Evil Twinclay Co x Hauntfest.Athens x @shadesofpandemonium x Soulsacred Apothecary x Tasty Simones x WaterandWick.

So, essentially, you’re getting a summer festival-type of an event without festival-type hassles, without the festival-type prices, and without being subjected to the four-seasons-in-a-week type of summer Georgia weather. We’d say that’s a win all around and we have every intention of delivering an experience that either you are there witness it or having to hear about it wishing you were there to witness it.
